The purpose of this educational innovation proposal is to respond to the training needs of the native communities that are members of the National Program for the Conservation of Forests for the Mitigation of Climate Change, related to the surveillance and monitoring of communal forests, using human resources and available materials that guarantee its application. The skills acquired on these issues will allow the sustainability of the Program's intervention, generating positive impacts on the population for the adequate surveillance not only of their conservation forests but also of their entire territories. In this sense, the proposal provides the teams in charge of the implementation with the theoretical-practical foundations necessary for its realization. It consists of training actions with theoretical face-to-face sessions and practices to facilitate training processes on fundamental issues for the actions of these audiences. It is comprehensive, since it develops an option that allows these communities to generate self-sustainability tools to transform their situation and face problems from other perspectives. Through the training process, these communities will obtain the necessary skills to carry out adequate surveillance and monitoring of their forests. In this way, tools are provided and positive changes are made possible in the face of priority and urgent needs in a suitable and viable proposal to be implemented.
