Resumen
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo de evidenciar la importancia de Industria
4.0 y proponer lineamientos estratégicos para Ripley Corp S.A, empresa grande del sector retail
por departamentos, para la implementación de la Industria 4.0 en su cadena de suministro,
tomando en cuenta las características del paradigma tecnológico y principios que forman parte de
esta nueva industria. Asimismo, se recogen elementos del sector donde opera la organización y
también de la Industria 4.0 para lograr una óptima caracterización de Ripley Corp S.A y la
importancia de la Industria 4.0 en este.
La aproximación de la investigación se realizará a través del estudio del caso de Ripley
Corp S.A y con la ayuda de herramientas de investigación cualitativa. Para ello, se realizará
inicialmente una evaluación crítica de literatura con el fin de estudiar las características de una
Industria 4.0 y los modelos de preparación y madurez para la Logística 4.0. Es así que, luego de
una exhaustiva investigación se seleccionó el modelo de Facchini, Oleskow, Ranieri & Urbinati
(2020) con la finalidad de determinar y analizar el nivel de madurez y preparación de Ripley Corp
S.A y, finalmente, realizar una propuesta estratégica para la organización.
Como resultado, el presente trabajo, expone los beneficios que otorga contar con
tecnología de la Industria 4.0 para el crecimiento y evolución de una organización del sector retail.
En primer lugar, se muestra un mejor desarrollo en el nivel de entendimiento de los principios y
características de la Industria 4.0 y del uso de los modelos para determinar el nivel de preparación
de una organización. Por otro lado, se ha generado una propuesta económica con lineamientos
que una organización del sector retail por departamento debería seguir para mejorar su nivel de
preparación en el paradigma 4.0 de su cadena de suministro mediante la aplicación de estrategias
que serán desarrolladas más adelante.
The objective of this research is to demonstrate the importance of Industry 4.0 and propose strategic guidelines for Ripley Corp SA, a large company in the retail sector by departments in Peru, for the implementation of Industry 4.0 in its supply chain, considering the characteristics of the technological paradigm and principles that are part of this new industry. In addition, elements of the sector where the organization operates and also of Industry 4.0 are collected to achieve an optimal characterization of Ripley Corp S.A and the importance of Industry 4.0. The research approach will be carried out through the case study of Ripley Corp S.A and with the help of qualitative research tools. To do this, a critical evaluation of the literature will be carried out initially in order to study the characteristics of an Industry 4.0 and the preparation and maturity models for Logistics 4.0. After an exhaustive investigation, the model of Facchini, Oleskow, Ranieri & Urbinati (2020) was selected in order to determine and analyze the level of maturity and preparation of Ripley Corp S.A and, finally, make a strategic proposal for the organization. As a result, this work exposes the benefits provided by Industry 4.0 technology for the growth and evolution of a retail sector organization. On the one hand, a better development is shown in the level of understanding of the principles and characteristics of Industry 4.0 and the use of the models to determine the level of preparation of an organization. On the other hand, an economic proposal has been generated with guidelines that a retail sector organization by department should follow in order to improve its level of preparation in the 4.0 paradigm of its supply chain by applying strategies that will be developed later.
