Abstract
White Handkerchief is a fictional short film that presents us with the story of Adela, a young dancer who has two great loves: the marinera and her partner, Berenice. She's proud of who she is, but her surroundings and the dance traditions she loves make her question whether she's really happy with what she's doing. Starting to go out with Berenice makes her think how much she would like to dance with her, even though she knows it's not possible. It's hard for her to think about a future where she has to hide who she is and who she loves, but she's afraid of rebelling and losing everything.
