Integración y convergencia en UNASUR

Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene por propósito analizar las relaciones entre los países andinos. En este contexto, se estudia las diferentes estrategias de inserción internacional y que conforman distintas formas de integración regional, entre ellas UNASUR. Con este objetivo se describe la problemática que subsiste dentro de bloques regionales como CAN y MERCOSUR. Por otro lado, se muestra la importancia y los esfuerzos por profundizar la integración mediante otros procesos, como lo es la Alianza del Pacífico, TPP y ALBA. UNASUR emerge como una alternativa ante las pocas posibilidades de convergencia entre CAN-MERCOSUR, como un instrumento que debe potenciarse para fortalecer la integración sudamericana, la cual abarque no solo el ámbito político, sino también el económico-comercial.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the relationship between the Andean countries. In this context, we study different strategies of international links and constitute different forms of regional integration, including UNASUR. Consequently, this paper describes the problem that exists within regional blocks such as CAN and MERCOSUR. On the other hand, shows the importance and efforts to deepen integration with other processes, such as the “Alianza del Pacífico”, TPP and ALBA. UNASUR emerges as an alternative to the limited possibilities of convergence between CAN-MERCOSUR as an instrument that should be enhanced to strengthen South American integration, that cover not only the political but also the economic and commercial scope.
