Entre el ruido de la ciudad y la pureza de la naturaleza yace el conflicto del humano moderno

Abstract

El presente trabajo de Suficiencia Profesional propone un acercamiento a la práctica artística que vengo realizando estos últimos años mediante la investigación y desarrollo de diversos conceptos que nutren mi trabajo y cómo orientan las aproximaciones que decido tomar. Estas se sitúan en complejas dinámicas que encuentro en los entornos de la ciudad moderna y cómo contrastan con la naturaleza. Asimismo, presentaré referentes visuales que inspiran mi producción artística y analizaré diez obras seleccionadas de mis últimos proyectos que reflejen las reflexiones realizadas en cuanto a la predominancia y elección del Dibujo como medio principal para las representaciones visuales que planteo y cómo se entrelazan con las nociones exploradas. El objetivo fue familiarizarme profundamente con mi obra para poder manifestar, de una manera más clara, las inquietudes y dudas que me rodean y cómo las vengo traduciendo en un lenguaje visual que busca representar mucho más que paisajes urbanos. Finalmente, esta búsqueda se encuentra fuertemente relacionada a los sentimientos y a la experiencia de vivir en un imponente mundo moderno que no se detiene, pero cuya esperanza por un futuro mejor tampoco se apaga. Es el silencio de vivir en el primer cuarto del siglo XXI.

The present Professional Sufficiency work proposes an approach to the artistic practice that I have been carrying out in recent years through the research and development of various concepts that nourish my work and how they guide the approaches that I decide to aboard. These are situated in complex dynamics that I find in modern city environments and how they contrast with nature. Likewise, I will present visual references that inspired my artistic production and I will analyze ten works selected from my latest projects that reflect the contemplations I made regarding the predominance and election of Drawing as the main medium for the visual representations that I propose and how they are intertwined with the notions explored. The purpose was to become deeply familiar with my work in order to express, in a clearer way, the concerns and doubts that surround me and how I have been translating them into a visual language that seeks to represent much more than urban landscapes. Finally, this research is strongly related to the feelings and experience of living in an imposing modern world that doesn’t stop, but whose hope for a better future does not fade either. It´s the silence of living in the first quarter of the 21st century.
