Resumen

Based on the theories of network, entrepreneurship, and knowledge sharing, used with multidisciplinary approaches, the general objective of the thesis is to contribute to the construction of a conceptual management model that provides a comprehensive view of the components of entrepreneurial ecosystems (EE). The research will be divided into four chapters: (1) systematic literature review on knowledge sharing in entrepreneurial ecosystems for the creation, survival, and development of startups; (2) comparative analysis between different entrepreneurial ecosystems to identify how values are created and captured from knowledge sharing and learning process management; (3) empirical study on the beacon effect of successful startups on the composition of cultural, material and social factors of EEs; (4) study on the complexities of entrepreneurial learning from business failure and its effects on the learning process and knowledge management in EE. The research will be qualitative with the researcher's immersion in the field. Primary data will be collected in loco in different ecosystems through semi-structured interviews, narratives, and participant observation. The last three chapters will use Grounded Theory and the data collected will be interpreted using the NVivo software through an ethnographic posture. The expected results point to the inclusion of new theoretical perspectives on entrepreneurial ecosystems applicable to the context of emerging economies, providing new empirical evidence from micro (individual), meso (organizations), and macro (networks) analysis. Much of the studies so far have focused on advanced economies and present static management models. This study innovates by proposing the inclusion of dynamic aspects that allow for an overview of the EEs, respecting the particularities of emerging economies such as scarcity of resources, structural gaps, and institutional gaps.
