Resumen
El objetivo de esta investigación fue conocer las conocer las concepciones y creencias sobre bullying
en docentes de secundaria de colegios públicos en Lima Metropolitana. Por ello, se realizó una
investigación de enfoque cualitativo haciendo uso de entrevistas semi estructuradas a seis docentes de
una institución pública de varones, teniendo como criterios que sean activos en la institución educativa
y enseñen en el nivel de secundaria. Como parte de los resultados principales, se obtuvo que estos
presentan un conocimiento reducido sobre el concepto, brindando mayor importancia al bullying de
tipo físico, desvalorizando el rol del espectador y el daño psicológico como emocional que genera este
fenómeno. Como conclusión, se puede decir que este conocimiento limitado por parte de los docentes
influye en sus concepciones y creencias que presenten sobre ello, lo cual podría afectar en medidas o
estrategias poco efectivas para el control de las situaciones de bullying, por lo que es importante innovar
las capacitaciones para abordar estas ideas, poder deconstruirlas y formar nuevos conocimientos.

The objective of this research was to know the conceptions and beliefs about bullying in secondary public school teachers in Metropolitan Lima. Therefore, a qualitative research was carried out using a semi-structured interview with six teachers of a public institution for boys, based on criteria that are active in the educational institution and teach at the secondary level. As part of the main results, it was obtained that they present reduced knowledge about the concept, giving greater importance to physical bullying, devaluing the viewer's role and the psychological and emotional damage caused by this phenomenon. In conclusion, it can be said that this limited knowledge on the part of teachers influences their conceptions and beliefs that they present about which can affect measures or strategies that are not very effective for controlling bullying situations, which is why important to innovate the training to address these ideas, be able to deconstruct them and form new knowledge.
