The main aim of this research is to explore the relationship between attachment representation and the level of reminiscing in father of high socioeconomic level with sons and daughter of preschooler years. We worked with 15 dyads, the average age of the fathers was 40.27 and of the sons 4.45. To obtain a score of the attachment representations we worked with the Adult Script Assesment of Waters and Rodrigues (1998), and for the reminiscing levels we used a coding system based on Farrant and Reese (2000). From this, no significant relationship was found between the attachment representations and the reminiscing levels. As a specific objective, it was found that the amount of emotions used by the parents in the reminiscing’s do not differ according to the sex of the child. In addition, it was found that the inclusion of emotions is not associated with the level of elaboration of the remembrance. Finally, there was no difference in the way parents remember with their children, either men or women. It should be noted that this research corresponds to a first approach to describe the way parents remember with their children.
