Implementación de un marco de gestión estratégico basado en Scrum para un MYPE de arquitectura

Abstract

La presente investigación describe la situación actual de las MYPE de arquitectura, el impacto que tienen estas empresas en el sector construcción y los factores que limitan su desarrollo; asimismo, se puntualiza la necesidad de repensar varios procesos de estas MYPE, que no han podido internalizar mejoras de gestión moderna que les permita alcanzar crecimiento y sustentabilidad. Por consiguiente, este estudio tiene como objetivo principal evaluar la integración del marco ágil Scrum en la gestión de una MYPE de arquitectura y su impacto en los niveles de productividad y rentabilidad. A través de una investigación cuantitativa, se logró obtener resultados favorables en la productividad, alcanzando un incremento del 60%; asimismo, debido al impacto que este genera sobre el rendimiento, se alcanzó un incremento en la rentabilidad por proyecto del 44%. Estos resultados fueron positivos incluso en un escenario pesimista, como la pandemia causada por el SARS-CoV-2. En suma, este trabajo de investigación representa una contribución que la hace única en comparación con estudios anteriores y brinda una guía para la integración de Scrum en el marco de trabajo de este tipo de empresas, el mismo que permite alcanzar resultados tangibles sobre su administración, productividad y rentabilidad, con el objetivo de generar oportunidades de mejora en busca de su sostenibilidad.

This research describes the current situation of architecture MYPE, the impact that these companies have in the construction sector and the factors that limit their development; it also points out the need to rethink several processes of these MYPEs, which have not been able to internalize modern management improvements that would allow them to achieve growth and sustainability. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to evaluate the integration of the agile Scrum framework in the management of an architecture MYPE and its impact on the levels of productivity and profitability. Through a quantitative research, it was possible to obtain favorable results in the productivity, reaching an increase of 60%; also, due to the impact that this generates on the performance, an increase in the profitability by project of 44% was reached. These results were positive even in a pessimistic scenario, such as the SARSCoV- 2 pandemic. In sum, this research work represents a contribution that makes it unique in comparison with previous studies and provides a guide for the integration of Scrum into the framework of this kind of companies, which allows it to achieve tangible results on its management, productivity and profitability, with the aim of generating opportunities for improvement in search of sustainability.
