Análisis de equilibrio general : Modelos y aplicaciones para países en desarrollo
Abstract
Este libro, dirigido a estudiantes de pregrado y posgrado en las áreas de economía y afines, está orientado a promover la enseñanza de los modelos computables o calibrados de equilibrio general en las universidades o calibrados equilibrio general en las universidades de países menos avanzados. Además, estos modelos pueden ser usados como instrumentos de análisis de políticas de desarrollo económico en dichos países.
La primera parte del libro se concentra en describir los fundamentos de la teoría de equilibrio general de una manera clara y sencilla, presentando además una serie de modelos específicos que permiten tener la intuición de las interrelaciones de todos los mercados de bienes, servicios y factores existentes en una economía. La segunda parte aborda las diversas etapas que comprende la elaboración de un modelo computable de equilibrio general. Adicionalmente, el libro presenta pautas básicas para la elaboración de modelos computables que aborden los temas de desarrollo económico de la informalidad, la economía de las regiones, los mercados imperfectos y el medio ambiente y cambio climático.
