dc.description.abstract	En el presente artículo el autor nos indica las características principales del contrato de garantía, diferenciándolo del contrato defianza. Además, realiza un breve comentario acerca de la validez de las garantías a primera solicitud, teniendo en cuenta que la tendencia en el comercio internacional, el cual constituye el campo de aplicación natural de este tipo garantía, es privilegiar la seguridad económica del mercado sobre la de sus partícipes.	es_ES
