Abstract
The purpuse of the present investigation was to determine the metric characteristics of adaptation and standardization of the Test de Sintaxis de Aguado (T.S.A.) to the spanish of Lima to children ages 5 and 6 years of public educational institutions in Los Olivos district. The sample consisted of 147 children. The T.S.A was adapted linguistically. This adaptation was reviewed by a set of judges. For this, the V of Aiken was applied and a coefficient of 1 was obtained. In addition, the reliability of the instrument was estimated through the Alpha of Cronbach’s test; the results show an alpha coefficient of .708 for the comprehensive process and .773 for the expressive process, which indicates that the instrument has the adequate capacity to measure the morphosyntactic development of the child. Finally, scales of percentiles were constructed in relation to age in years and months.
