Resumen
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo dilucidar los conceptos relacionados a
la filosofía de disciplina positiva en la regulación emocional de niños y niñas en edad
preescolar. Desde esta perspectiva, servirá a los docentes de educación inicial, como
marco referencial para orientar su labor docente a escala formativa, instructiva y
didáctica. El estudio es de carácter documental, pues busca hacer una descripción
reflexiva en torno al objetivo planteado, a partir del análisis de diversas fuentes como
tesis, libros virtuales, artículos de revistas, videos, entre los más importantes. En la
primera parte del estudio se aborda el concepto de disciplina positiva, su sentido de
práctica en la vida diaria, así como los principios que la sustentan desde diversas
aristas. En la segunda parte se analiza la definición de regulación emocional y se
profundiza cómo la comprensión de las emociones propicia el desarrollo del bienestar
personal y social; de este modo, se clarifica cómo la disciplina positiva potencia el
desarrollo integral de las personas, ya que da paso a la creación de espacios
saludables, donde los niños y niñas se sientan escuchados, valorados y en confianza
de desarrollarse con libertad y amor. El aporte de este estudio radica en la gestión de
los estados emocionales en los niños en edad preescolar, para el ejercicio de su
autocontrol, el desarrollo de sus competencias sociales y el manejo de sus
habilidades socioemocionales como estilo de vida.
The present research aims to elucidate the concepts related to the philosophy of positive discipline in the emotional regulation of preschool children. In addition, it will be useful for teachers of early education, as a framework to guide their work at a formative, instructive, and didactic level. The study has a documentary character, due to the fack, it pretends to make a reflexive description about the proposed objective, from the analysis of several sources such as thesis, virtual books, magazine articles, videos, among the most important. In the first part of the study, we approach the concept of positive discipline, the sense of its practice in daily life, as well as the principles that sustain it from different angles. In the second part, the definition of emotional regulation is explained and it is emphasized how the understanding of emotions encourages the development of personal and social wellbeing. In this way, it is clarified how positive discipline improves people's integral development, leading to the creation of healthy spaces for children to feel listened, valued, and confident to develop with freedom and love. This study's contribution is based on the management of emotional states in preschool children for the exercise of self-control, the development of their social competences and the management of their socialemotional skills as a lifestyle.
