Abstract
El presente trabajo es un estudio descriptivo correlacional, que aborda la
relación que existe entre el uso de neologismos sociales con la música urbana. Se
trabajó con una muestra de 103 estudiantes del tercer grado de secundaria, de los
cuales, 58 eran del sexo femenino y 45 del sexo masculino. Se utilizó el método
de encuesta con la técnica del cuestionario para la recolección de los datos. Se
encontró que existe una tendencia significativa del uso de neologismos sociales
relacionados con los géneros musicales que conforman la música urbana de moda,
como el reggaetón, el rap, el hip hop y la salsa. Al analizar los datos obtenidos se
verificó que aunque los adolescentes no son conscientes del significado que tienen
las palabras utilizadas según la RAE, ellos inmediatamente asumen el significado
que traen las letras musicales según el contexto escolar juvenil. De esta manera, se
afirma que existe relación entre el uso de neologismos sociales con la música
urbana en el lenguaje cotidiano de los estudiantes del tercer grado de secundaria
de una Institución Educativa Pública de La Molina. Se obtuvo como resultado
una batería de neologismos para comprobar que son adquiridos por la escucha de
la música urbana.
The present work is a correlational descriptive study, which deals with the relationship that exists between the uses of social neologisms with urban music. We worked with a sample of 103 students of the third grade of secondary school, of which 58 were female and 45 male. The survey method was used with the questionnaire technique for data collection. It was found that there is a significant trend of the use of social neologisms related to the musical genres that make up urban fashion music, such as reggaetón, rap, hip hop and salsa. When analyzing the data obtained, it was verified that although the adolescents are not aware of the meaning of the words used according to the RAE, they immediately assume the meaning that the musical letters bring according to the juvenile school context. In this way, it is affirmed that there is a relationship between the uses of social neologisms with urban music in the everyday language of third grade students of a Public Education Institution of La Molina. A battery of neologisms was obtained as a result to verify that they are acquired by listening to urban music.
