Resumen
El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo determinar los
componentes que debe contemplar la estrategia de comunicaciones orientada al
fortalecimiento de la cultura organizacional para el departamento académico de una
universidad privada de Lima. La investigación se desarrolló mediante un enfoque
metodológico mixto, integrando métodos cuantitativos y cualitativos. Se realizaron
encuestas a 89 miembros del departamento, entrevistas a 5 líderes clave y se empleó el
análisis de contenido del Plan Estratégico Institucional (PEI) de la universidad de la
unidad de análisis, con el fin de diagnosticar el estado actual de la comunicación y la
cultura organizacional, así como identificar elementos críticos que necesitan mejorarse.
Los resultados del diagnóstico revelaron que la cultura organizacional del
departamento muestra fortalezas en áreas como la visión compartida y la adaptabilidad,
pero también áreas de mejora significativas en la cohesión de los equipos de trabajo y la
eficacia de la comunicación interna. Las conclusiones subrayan la necesidad de
desarrollar una estrategia de comunicación que promueva una mayor colaboración,
transparencia y alineación con los valores institucionales.
Las recomendaciones proporcionadas incluyen la implementación de canales de
comunicación más eficientes, programas de capacitación en liderazgo y la creación de
iniciativas que fortalezcan el sentido de pertenencia y compromiso entre los miembros
del departamento. Estas acciones están diseñadas para contribuir al desarrollo de una
cultura organizacional robusta y alineada con los objetivos estratégicos de la universidad,
promoviendo así un entorno más cohesionado y eficiente.
This research aims to determine the components that should be included in the communication strategy aimed at strengthening the organizational culture of the academic department of a private university in Lima. The research was conducted using a mixed methodological approach, integrating quantitative and qualitative methods. Surveys were conducted with 89 department members, interviews with 5 key leaders, and content analysis of the Institutional Strategic Plan (PEI) of the university's unit of analysis was employed to diagnose the current state of communication and organizational culture, as well as to identify critical elements that need improvement. The diagnostic results revealed that the department's organizational culture shows strengths in areas such as shared vision and adaptability, but also significant areas for improvement in team cohesion and the effectiveness of internal communication. The conclusions highlight the need to develop a communication strategy that promotes greater collaboration, transparency, and alignment with institutional values. The recommendations provided include the implementation of more efficient communication channels, leadership training programs, and the creation of initiatives that strengthen the sense of belonging and commitment among department members. These actions are designed to contribute to the development of a robust organizational culture aligned with the university's strategic objectives, thus promoting a more cohesive and efficient environment.
