Processes in children aged 3 to 5 years, however, no studies were found aimed at comparing two groups of children of the same age, from the same Educational Institution, of the same socioeconomic level but They live in different districts. The objective of this research is to determine the characteristics of the Phonological Simplification Processes in the 3-year-old children of the I.E.P Johannes Gutenberg of the districts of Comas and El Agustino. The sample is made up of 104 children and the Teprosif-R Adapted Test is used. The research is descriptive and the design is non-experimental transversal. The results show that most children have normal phonological performance. 19% of children are at risk, with none in deficit. On the other hand, the boys and girls who attend this school according to the district, present a significant difference in relation to the Structure Processes of the Syllable and the Word, as well as in that of Substitution. Theydo not present a significant difference in relation to the Assimilation Process. The most affected process is the Structure of the Syllable and the Word. According to sex, no significant differences are observed in any of the three processes. Regarding the metrics of the word, the most affected are polysyllabic.
