The present research work arises from an initiative to be able to contribute to the Teaching of Mathematics, especially to the teaching of the Exponential Function, our mathematical object, for secondary school students who are in the fourth and fifth grade belonging to cycle VII recognized in Regular Basic Education (EBR). According to the Curriculum Program of Peru, there is a study plan in the area of Mathematics, fulfilling the appropriate training, taking into account the competencies and skills of the National Basic Curriculum Design (DCBN). The objective of this research is to analyze how a proposal of activities allows to generate the Instrumental Genesis of the Exponential Function mediated by GeoGebra in students of the VII cycle of secondary school. In this research, the theoretical framework is the instrumental approach of Rabardel (1995) and whose research methodology is qualitative. We will use methodological processes oriented to the analysis of sequences of activities of the Exponential Function mediated by GeoGebra. We will consider four phases of methodological processes for the proposal and we will take an introductory activity that allows us to explore the technological tool that has been chosen. Next we will consider three activities to achieve the Instrumental Genesis of the Exponential Function mediated by GeoGebra. Finally, we propose a didactic proposal for the student of cycle VII of the EBR. After analyzing the activities, it is concluded that a technological tool, such as the GeoGebra software, facilitates the teaching of the Exponential Function
