Abstract
El presente estado del arte tiene como objetivo analizar los beneficios que implica la
lectura de los libros infantiles en el desarrollo de las competencias de oralidad en la
primera infancia, a partir de un proceso de recolección de información, organización y
revisión bibliográfica en español, portugués e inglés, a fin de construir un análisis con
los documentos revisados. La importancia de los libros infantiles en la primera infancia
permite a través de la lectura en voz alta y la interpretación de las ilustraciones
establecer un andamiaje para el desarrollo de la oralidad del infante y reconocer al niño
como un ser que explora, se interrelaciona mediante el lenguaje oral, así como el uso
constante de prácticas sociales de la oralidad imbricadas a la lectura, incidiendo en el
desarrollo de la expresión oral del niño. Los documentos revisados muestran que el
propiciar la oralidad a través de experiencias lectoras en la primera infancia o el
implementar estrategias didácticas desarrolladas para potenciarla a partir de la
literatura infantil beneficia en los niños actitudes favorables que contribuyan a una
convivencia armónica y agradable, fortaleciendo la creatividad e imaginación. En
definitiva, la oralidad es una herramienta fundamental, la cual insertará a los niños
dentro de la sociedad. Además, propiciará una convivencia eficaz a través de la lectura
de imágenes, juego de palabras, fantasías, entusiasmo y estética que fomenten libertad
de expresión y permita volar la imaginación y creatividad en los niños y niñas.
The present state of the art aims to analyze the benefits that the reading of children's books implies in the development of orality skills in early childhood, from a process of information collection, organization and bibliographic review in Spanish, Portuguese and English, in order to build an analysis with the reviewed documents. The importance of children's books in early childhood allows through reading aloud and the interpretation of the illustrations to establish a scaffolding for the development of the infant's orality and to recognize the child as a being that explores, is interrelated through the Oral language, as well as the constant use of social practices of orality intertwined with reading, influencing the development of the child's oral expression. The documents reviewed show that promoting orality through reading experiences in early childhood or implementing didactic strategies developed to enhance it from children's literature benefits children favorable attitudes that contribute to a harmonious and pleasant coexistence, strengthening creativity and imagination. In short, orality is a fundamental tool, which will insert children into society. In addition, it will promote an effective coexistence through the reading of images, word games, fantasies, enthusiasm and aesthetics that promote freedom of expression and allow imagination and creativity to fly in children.
