Resumen
La labor docente es pieza clave de la formación de ciudadanos. El objetivo principal de
esta investigación es el presentar mi experiencia como docente de nivel secundaria en
el curso de Ciencias Sociales, especialmente la sección de Historia y cómo mi
formación profesional colaboró con el desarrollo de la competencia “Construye
interpretaciones históricas”, teniendo como herramienta principal los textos escolares
durante mi labor en los colegios San Andrés (periodo 2018) y Los Robles (Periodo
2020-2023). Me centraré en los temas de la Confederación Perú-boliviana (1836-1839)
y la época del terrorismo en el Perú (1980-1992). Para abordar el tema de
investigación, se revisarán las metas esperadas por el Ministerio de Educación según
su Programa Curricular vigente (2017). Además, se hará un análisis de los materiales
escritos utilizados para las clases y una aproximación a cómo se utilizaron durante mi
labor docente, incluyendo los elementos que mi formación como historiador permitió
agregar para así conseguir desarrollar la competencia esperada. Se hallará que la
competencia mencionada busca generar ciudadanos con pensamiento histórico y que
sean sujetos históricos, con una participación activa en la sociedad. Además, se
hallarán elementos discordes entre los diferentes materiales de estudio, los cuales
pueden ser subsanados por mi persona gracias a la formación recibida. Esto se
traducirá en la modificación del material en base a las metas del Ministerio de
Educación, mediante las herramientas conseguidas durante mi etapa de estudiante en
la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
The teaching profession is a key component to form citizens. The main objective of this research is to present my experience as a secondary level teacher in the Social Sciences subject, particularly in the History section, and how my professional formation contributed with the development of the “Builds historial interpretations” competence, having as the main tool school textbooks during my work in San Andrés (2018) and Los Robles (2020-2023). I will focus on the topics of the Peru-Bolivian Confederation (1836-1839) and the terrorism period in Peru (1980-1992). To address the research topic, the expected goals set by the Ministry of Education, according to its current Curricular Program (2017) will be reviewed. Additionally, there will be an analysis of the written materials used for class and an examination of how they were employed during the teaching, including the elements that my formation as a historian allowed me to incorporate in order to develop the expected competence. It will be found that the mentioned competence aims to produce citizens with historical thinking and who are historical subjects, actively participating in society. Also, there will be discordant elements found among the different study materials, which can be amend by me due to the training received. This will result on the modification of the material based on the goals of the Ministry of Education, using the tools acquired during my time as a student at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
