Abstract
La presente investigación denominada “Vocabulario Expresivo y
Comprensivo en niños de dos y tres años de edad de Instituciones públicas y
privadas de Lima Metropolitana”, es un estudio que adopta un enfoque
cuantitativo, de diseño transeccional –descriptivo comparativo, porque tiene como
objetivo determinar las características del vocabulario tanto expresivo y
comprensivo de los 250 niños que participaron del estudio, a fin de brindar
alcances importantes sobre el tema a investigar. En el proceso de la medición de
ambas variables se utiliza el Test Figura – Palabra de Vocabulario Expresivo de
Gardner, que consta de 110 láminas y el Test de Vocabulario en imágenes de
PEABODY PPVT III, que posee 192 láminas con 4 ítems cada una. Al término del
estudio se comprueba que existen diferencias en el vocabulario expresivo y comprensivo
en niños y niñas de dos y tres años en relación al tipo de institución educativa.
This research entitled "Comprehensive and Expressive Vocabulary for two and three years old children of public and private institutions of Lima", is a comparative study that adopted a quantitative approach, of a transectional design - -- descriptive comparative, because it aimed to determine the characteristics of both expressive and comprehensive vocabulary of 250 children in the study, in order to provide important impacts on the topic to investigate. In the process of measuring both variables the Figure Test was used --- Word of Gardner’s Expressive Vocabulary, consisting of 110 sheets, and Peabody Vocabulary Test PPVT III, which has 192 sheets with 4 items each. At the end of the study we could prove that there are differences between comprenhensive and expressive vocabulary in children of two and three years old in relation to the type of educational institution.
