Resumen
Este proyecto consiste básicamente en investigar cómo funciona el método de
Meditación Transcendental aplicado en una institución educativa pública del distrito
de La Victoria. Revisar y analizar la acción de este método en los escolares, en
particular en docentes y escolares de secundaria. Desde un enfoque cualitativo e
interpretativo este trabajo interpreta la realidad de esta práctica dentro del contexto
educativo.
El objetivo planteado es describir cómo funciona este método en este contexto
educativo, un acercamiento a comprender este método y sus beneficios, entender
su importancia y la necesidad de realizar este tipo de proyectos para contribuir a
mejorar el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes. La metodología de la
investigación se ubica en un enfoque cualitativo de tipo exploratorio, pues la mirada
es de compresión de este fenómeno poco conocido en el contexto peruano. Las
técnicas para recoger información son las entrevistas y encuestas, que se aplica a
docentes y estudiantes de secundaria.
El método de Meditación Transcendental es analizado y estudiado desde distintas
fuentes teóricas que tratan este tema para entender qué significa, cómo funciona y
porque es tan beneficioso para el rendimiento escolar. Las conclusiones nos ayudan
a entender su funcionamiento y operatividad como herramienta complementaria
para el desarrollo del rendimiento académico.
This project basically consists of investigating how the Transcendental Meditation method applied in a public educational institution in the district of La Victoria works. Review and analyze the action of this method in schoolchildren, particularly in teachers and secondary school students. From a qualitative and interpretive approach, this work interprets the reality of this practice within the educational context. The proposed objective is to describe how this method works in this educational context, an approach to understanding this method and its benefits, understanding its importance and the need to carry out this type of project to help improve the academic performance of students. The research methodology is located in a qualitative exploratory approach, since the gaze is of compression of this little-known phenomenon in the Peruvian context. The techniques to collect information are interviews and surveys, which is applied to teachers and high school students. The Transcendental Meditation method is analyzed and studied from different theoretical sources that deal with this topic to understand what it means, how it works and why it is so beneficial for school performance. The conclusions help us to understand its operation and operability as a complementary tool for the development of academic performance.
