Abstract
actualizaciones.
This descriptive research was developed with the purpose of knowing the level of knowledge in teachers and psychologists about the Specific Language Disorder (TEL). For which the questionnaire of knowledge of the specific language disorder was applied to 98 people, of which 42 were psychologists and 56 teachers. These participants solved the questionnaire consisting of 31 items grouped into 5 dimensions: definition, characteristics, causes, intervention and epidemiology. Likewise, through an analysis it was obtained that the knowledge of the TEL was found at a deficient level with a percentage of 31.0% in psychologists and 17.9% in teachers. Among subjective discussions, the level of ignorance between teachers and psychologists is not recent, as there is a work that refers to this problematic situation has been present for at least 20 years, so it is concluded that it is necessary to have more specific information about this disorder. Reason why it is necessary that teachers and psychologists do not dispense with requiring more information about the specific language disorder, from pre-grade academic training to external training and updates.
