O Direito do Comércio Internacional tem por objeto todas as relacoes de comércio que possuam um elo com mais de um Estado. Sua finalidade é estudar as relacoes jurídicas comerciais que ultrapassam as fronteiras nacionais desses Estados. Esse fato nos coloca diante de um possível conflito quanto a lei que deverá reger essa relacio jurídica multiconectada. Para resolver esse conflito, precisaremos utilizar os métodos preconizados pelo Direito Internacional Privado.
