Redes de apoyo en los procesos de rehabilitación por adicciones: El caso de los pacientes del pabellón 6 del hospital “Hermilio Valdizán”

Abstract

Las adicciones siempre serán vistas como un problema social, los pacientes que las han padecido (rehabilitados) deben seguir programas de seguimiento para evitar recaer, ésta es una estrategia que persiguen los profesionales de la salud del pabellón 6 del hospital Hermilio Valdizan, en este programa se desarrollan redes de apoyo debido a que se reconocen entre pares con intereses comunes, dichas redes dentro del grupo son informales, a su vez existen las redes de apoyo familiares que son de suma importancia por lo que éstas proveen. En esta investigación el método que se utilizó fue cualitativo, se han realizado doce entrevistas semi estructuradas a pacientes, además de observación de las sesiones de seguimiento y de las interacciones de los miembros del grupo en espacios de recreación. Se descubrió que las redes de apoyo de los pacientes de seguimiento por adicciones en el programa del hospital Valdizan sirven para no recaer en su adicción y poseen distintos tipos, las redes de apoyo egocéntricas terminan siendo redes “pro-familia” y las redes de apoyo dentro del programa de seguimiento son redes “pro-amistad”, ambas determinantes en el proceso de seguimiento.

In this research, the method used was qualitative; twelve semi-structured interviews were carried out with patients, in addition to observation of the follow-up sessions and the interactions of the group members in recreation spaces. It was discovered that the support networks of addiction monitoring patients in the Valdizan hospital program serve to prevent relapse into their addiction and have different types, the egocentric support networks end up being "pro- family" networks and the support networks Within the monitoring program they are “pro- friendship” networks, both determining factors in the monitoring process.
