Explorando las interacciones en los procesos de transferencia de tecnología en la Universidad

Abstract

La transferencia de tecnología desde las universidades hacia el sector productivo ha producido cambios en las estructuras universitarias para incorporar esta nueva función. En este proceso las legislaciones de los distintos países se han acomodado para que las universidades puedan operar con este enfoque. La presente investigación es un estudio de caso de carácter descriptivo sobre diversas modalidades de transferencia de tecnología que ocurren en el ámbito de proyectos de ingeniería de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Esta investigación se realizó en el marco del proyecto KICKSTART II – New Ways To Teach Innovation auspiciado por el programa ALFA III de la Unión Europea. El objetivo de la investigación es estudiar los procesos de transferencia de conocimientos y tecnología que se presentan en diferentes situaciones, buscando indagar sobre las interacciones entre diversas modalidades de transferencia de tecnología.

The universities have been introduced organizational changes to develop an effective technology transfer. In this process, in many countries new laws have been implemented so that the universities can operate appropriately. This way, in the universities organizational changes have been introduced to develop an effective interface with the society. This research is a case study about the dynamics of several modalities of transfer of knowledge and technology that happens with engineering projects of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. This research was part of the project KICKSTART II - New Ways to Teach Innovation supported by the program ALPHA III of the European Union. The objective of the research is to study the processes of transfer of knowledge and technology that are presented, looking for to understand the dynamics of the internal and external relationships that they are generated in each one of the studied types of technology transfer.
