Abstract
En el año 2003 gracias a mi amigo Leoncio López-Ocón Cabrera del Consejo
Superior de Investigaciones Científicas de España, gran experto en la obra del célebre
historiador Marcos Jiménez de la Espada, no solo tomé conocimiento del acercamiento
de este renombrado estudioso al original de el “Origen y Genealogía Real de los Reyes
Incas del Perú” de Fray Martín de Murúa sino que me introdujo a detalles descriptivos
de este documento que por 1879 volcó en 30 fichas cuando tuvo el privilegio de verlo
mientras permanecía en manos de los jesuitas en la ciudad francesa de Poyanne.
