Abstract
Centro de Cómputo de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú fundado en 1969 con la primera computadora que adquirió la PUCP, una IBM 1130, instalada el 24 de diciembre de 1969, día en que llegó a la Universidad. El equipo contenía la lectora, el disco de memoria y la impresora. El primer director del Centro de Cómputo fue el Ingeniero Jorge Alberto Solís Tovar (1969-1975).
