La Comunidad como forma de integración y organización entre los sicuris en Buenos Aires

Abstract

This article explores a series practices and narratives in order to analyze the forms in which an Andean musical group is configured as community in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The fieldwork consisted of making music together with the group, trying to generate an intersubjective practice that questions the division of traditional empiricism. The community is expressed in values, defined as Andean, that model the types of interaction and organization of the group. These aspects are problematized through the link that the Arco Iris Sicuris Community engages with social organizations. Studying the type of links that the group generates and how the sicuris are organized allows me the reflection about the identity construction of the group and its members in a city historically defined as European and non-indigenous. I arrive at the conclusion that the community allows to build identifications that transform the daily practices of the sicuris, through the combination of ethnicized elements in and from the Buenos Aires City, with visions that establish Arco Iris as a different way of being in the world.

En este artículo, exploro una serie prácticas y narrativas con el objetivo de analizar las formas en las que una agrupación de música andina se configura como comunidad en la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires (C.A.B.A.), Argentina. El trabajo de campo consistió en realizar música junto a la comunidad Sicuris del Arco Iris, intentando generar una práctica intersubjetiva que cuestione la división ellos-nosotros del empirismo tradicional. Lo comunitario se expresa en valores —definidos como «andinos» por los integrantes de la agrupación—, que modelan los tipos de interacción y organización del grupo. Se problematizan estos aspectos a través del vínculo que Arco Iris entabla con organizaciones sociales. Estudiar los vínculos que la agrupación genera y la manera como los sicuris se organizan, me permite reflexionar acerca de la construcción indentitaria de la agrupación y de sus miembros en una ciudad históricamente definida como europea y no indígena. Llego a la conclusión de que la comunidad permite construir identificaciones que transforman las prácticas cotidianas de los sicuris, a través de la combinación de elementos etnicizados en y desde la C.A.B.A., con visiones que establecen a Arco Iris como una forma distinta de estar en el mundo.
