Abstract
La subvaluación del renminbi, la moneda de China, ha venido facilitando a este país multiplicar exponencialmente sus exportaciones en condiciones desfavorables para las demás naciones competidoras. Aunque China viene corrigiendo progresivamente su desajuste cambiario, éste genera masivos excedentes financieros, a los que se les atribuye un rol significativo en la causalidad de la actual crisis financiera global. Este caso ejemplifica las limitaciones de los actuales mecanismos de gobernanza global. El autor reflexiona sobre el tema desde una perspectiva inter-disciplinaria.
