Ítem Acceso Abierto Investigación en psicología comunitaria: una ética para la transformación social(Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, Instituto Riva Agüero, Vicerrectorado de Investigación, Oficina de Ética de la Investigación e Integridad Científica, 2021-09) Rivera Holguín, Miryam; Velázquez, Tesania; Winkler, María InésThis work arises from the dialogue with Psychology students interested in training in Community Psychology (CP), who, in their student journey, have been raising questions about which are the ethical aspects in scientific research in general and which are the specific ethical aspects of CP research. This document attempts to answer some of these concerns based on a conceptual review and a discussion about our career as CP professors and researchers. In this work, the objectives of the CP and its implications, both in community praxis and in the construction of knowledge, are raised. Based on a review on ethics in general and on research ethics, four basic considerations for the ethics of CP research are proposed. It is necessary, first, to incorporate a critical eye over reality based on deconstruction processes; second, to co-construct reality with the community; third, to incorporate the knowledge of the community itself for transformation, which becomes possible when bonds with the community are legitimized; and, fourth, to question the reproduction of power relations. Finally, in this work, reflections on the importance of generating social transformation processes from CP research are made.
