La corrupción en el sector salud: características, algunas de sus tipologías y efectos

Abstract

In this research, the author approaches corruption linked to the health sector, treating the characteristics that make up its occurrence in the health system, thereby answering the question of why the health system is so attractive for acts of corruption. Then, some of the most important criminal typologies that national and international experience have brought to light are presented, analyzing their details and their relationship with the agents of the health system. Finally, scope is provided on the effects that this scourge has on society, providing notes in order to anticipate the problem.

En la presente investigación el autor realiza un acercamiento a la corrupción ligada al sector salud, realizando un tratamiento acerca de las características que configuran su concurrencia en el sistema de salud, respondiendo con ello a la cuestión de por qué el sistema de salud resulta tan atrayente para los actos de corrupción. Luego, se presenta alguna de las tipologías delictivas más importantes de las que la experiencia nacional e internacional han dado cuenta, analizando sus detalles y su relación con los agentes del sistema de salud. Finalmente, se brindan alcances sobre los efectos que este flagelo tiene sobre la sociedad, brindando anotaciones en orden a adelantarse al problema.
